From what I've found by googling, I believe this may be the SiS671(or 672?) driver which is mentioned in various threads - not sure, though. Searching /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers, I see there is a driver labelled sis-drv.so already installed. As far as I can work out, its standard refresh rate is 60Hz. Re: Ubuntu 10.10 and SiS mirage 3 grapichs uhhm guys, I did everything as writtenin that other tread (means copied sis driver+ nf) here - but I just can choose 1280 x 768 resolution? - in the nf the 1280x800 mode is listed. Best Linux Distro for Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile laptop? I know they are for Ubuntu. usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers #Edit /etc/X11/nf and set `Driver 'sis671'` on the 'Device' Section & EDITOR=/usr/bin/vim $EDITOR. The video on my mom's laptop, A Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V5535, had recently gone awry. It is an ath5k driver and the computer sees it. I still have problems getting my Esprimo V5535 from Fujistsu Siemens, to open wlan.
